i think we need one for cross band repeater at changla. i was just wondering if we hook up a 12 volt car battery to it will this power supply charge that too. need to do some research on it. i think these power supplies are not very expensive and easily available... rather then risking high cost power supplies why not we experiment on this and replace it......

has someone worked on this side, plz advise...

Find attached some more useful info to modify Computer PSU to make it 13.8V DC PSU for Amateur Radio Purpose.

Minimum 200W PSU is required to run a VHF-UHF Base set.
