Ismail,

Lovely,

Is that a kit or your own design. I ask in order to ascertain if you have any PCBs and related info that you could share with us.

I am interested in a monobander and a simple one.

You can take this case as an interesting project.
I recently restored an old Yaesu FTdx-401 and used it for a couple of months. Lately the power on 40 meter dropped. I checked and followed the signal track leading to the fact that only Lower Side Band is effected. I checked and found that the Lower Side Band Crystal frequency has moved up from the SSB Filter’s passband skirt. Tuning the trimmer capacitor does not make much difference. Can anyone help me resolve this problem whithout replacing the Crystal?

Wassay Bhai
Assalam-o-alaikum.Hope this finds u in good health.Recieved email regarding your post on the forum. As you said the lsb xtal freq has moved up it means freq has shifted towards the center of the bandpass. If it is so you can pull it down by introducing a little inductance in series of the xtal or a trimmer cap in parallel of the xtal.
As you may remember in homebrewed xtal filter we always do pull xtals for bfo using this method.
It is tried method and works well.
Give it a try and hopefully problem will solved.
