21st August – Chauki Darab Update

Food Distribution:

A team went to Chauki Darab village in Nowshera along with a truck load of food stuff courtesy of Ibex Magazine. The food was offloaded at the site for the lungar that was going to be supported by IBEX and IJC. 500 nans donated by the Sehberg Trust were also handed over to be used in the Lungar. This will start operation on the 22nd of August. The team then went around the village to assess the damage.

The team later went to Pashtun Garhi to check on the lungar already being run at that site. Maj. Saboor had installed a new tandoor to bake more rotis for the lungar. 500 nans were handed over here as well to augment the lungar.
