Flood relief Frequencies

Flood relief Frequencies

Monsoon is fast approaching and given the fact that last year Pakistan witnessed devastating floods that resulted in large scale life and property destruction PARS has as a preemptive measures installed two base stations (VHF/UHF) in the Punjab area (one in Sargodha and One in Lahore) which will be monitoring the weather and flood situation round the clock. Both the stations would be manned by Ham radios call signs (AP2ARS/Delta) in Lahore and AP2ARS/Foxtrot in Sargodha.

One station AP2ARS/Bravo would be positioned in KPK province near Mardan to monitor flood situation in Kabul and Indus river. This will also serve as a pre warning station for Punjab area as these 2 rivers join and then enter Punjab.

All three of them would be available on the repeaters.
